Steps Energy is a Saudi company based in Jeddah to provide sustainable, base load, zero carbon renewable energy focusing on geothermal energy projects design, finance, construction, energy production and operation of facilities upon completion.

Steps Energy was established in 2017 upon the announcement of King Salman Bin Abdulaziz initiative for renewable energy and the formation of the Saudi National Renewable Energy Program (NREP).

Steps Energy was the first Saudi company to conduct a full geothermal, geophysical and geological research on a geothermal site in the western province of Saudi Arabia. The research was accompanied with a technical, commercial and financial studies. Outcome of the studies showed that geothermal energy is very promising in Saudi Arabia.

Steps Energy aims to raise the awareness of geothermal as an unused renewable energy resource in the Saudi Arabia.
